Welcome!
About
My name is Randy. I’m a servant leader, Bible teacher, discipler, Husband, and father. Kelly is my wife and better half. We are the proud parents of 4 teenagers in a fun and crazy blended household. We also have 2 english cream golden retrievers if 4 kids were not enough.
I’m currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). This has allowed me to have a strong bible and systematics equipping that is complemented by organizational and leadership development as well as concentrating in discipleship and mentoring. DTS also engrains in students to humbly handle the word of God. Plus teach truth, in love.
My Story
There is more to my story than I have room here to write. Growing up I would say I was barely churched and certainly not saved. Then my father died when I was 19 leaving me like a boat without a rudder blowing in the wind. During my early 40s, I chased an idol known as Ironman racing. My identity was cemented into that level of performance and training rigor. Until it came all crashing down to where it destroyed my first marriage, alienated me from my young children, pushing me to the brink of being suicidal. It was through my divorce, I saw that the Lord never left me. I just needed to turn towards Him in 2015 and submit my childlike “faith” in what little I knew. 2020 I was called at the age of 50 into DTS after already receiving an MBA from Johns Hopkins and an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Nothing like starting seminary at the start of a pandemic. But the Lord has been faithful even though I wasn’t.
Calling
My calling is deeply rooted in my unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. I firmly believe I am serving as a beacon of light and guidance, helping individuals grow in their faith, discipleship, and understanding of God’s word. With a strong background in executive leadership and team development, I see my calling as a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the corporate world and ministry. I am driven to empower and equip the next generation of believers, reduce biblical illiteracy, and foster a culture of biblical discipleship.
Working in technology, I have grown a heart for India and the India diaspora. I firmly believe that Genesis 1 evangelism through business embodies the idea that workplaces can be a powerful platform for sharing the Gospel. Just as God created the world with intention, business leaders can create workplaces that reflect God’s values. Fostering a gospel-fluent work culture allows us to be living testimonies of Christ’s transformative power. This approach impacts employees, partners, and the wider community, making a meaningful difference through our business endeavors. Both locally and abroad. Plus helping to build out and equip the church in India.
Through this calling, I aspire to eventually serve in a bi-vocational role as an Executive Pastor and focus on Biblical Discipleship. I believe this utilizes the equipping the Lord has provided me through both life experiences as well as Dallas Theological Seminary background. I also want to help equip the Indian church through biblical studies and supporting in-country ministries.
